130 alumni of Australian Development Scholarships (ADS) and Australian Leadership Awards (ALA), together with some160 of their family members, including many children, gathered at a family barbecue (BBQ) hosted by the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) on 25 February, 2012 in Hanoi. The long-awaited event, which was aimed at fostering stronger professional
and personal networking among former ADS/ALA awardees and reinforcing links with Australia, was also attended by H.E. Allaster Cox, the Australia’s Ambassador to Vietnam and Mr. Mark Palu, Counsellor (Development) representing AusAID.
