(from left to right) Ms. Pham Kim Ngan, the show host; Ms. Nong Thi Mai Huong, ADS awardee, Tay; Ms Ma Dieu Linh, ADS awardee, Nung; Ms. Le Thi Thuc ADS Alumni, Tay; and Mr. Graham Alliband, ASDiV Team Leader.

“Nguoi xay to am” on VTV1- Vietnam Television has produced a very moving talk show about three outstanding Australian Development Scholarships alumni and awardees who are ethnic minority women: Le Thi Thuc, Nong Mai Huong and Ma Dieu Linh. Their inspiring stories touched every heart and sent a strong message to people in the audience - “where there’s a will, there’s a way”. They are bright, hardworking and all three have a strong passion to develop themselves and contribute to Vietnam, especially to the advancement of ethnic minority women – they represent the kind of scholarship applicants that the ADS is seeking.

The show will be aired on VTV1 at 22h20, Tuesday 8th June 2010 and repeated at 8h00 9th June 2010.

The ADS program always seeks to ensure women, men, ethnic minorities and disabled people have equal access to ADS awards.
